Hello there! My name is Idris and I am passionate about technology and its problem-solving capabilities. With a keen interest in staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field, I consider myself a technology enthusiast and a fast learner.

I am always on a never-ending quest for knowledge and strive to learn something new every day. My love for technology has equipped me with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and I am adept at identifying and resolving issues in a timely and effective manner.

In addition to my technical expertise, I am also skilled in working collaboratively with others and value attention to detail in all aspects of my work. Overall, I am a motivated and curious individual who is always eager to take on new challenges and opportunities.

I began my journey in the tech industry by working on programming Arduino and Raspberry Pi boards, as well as writing small programs in languages such as Python, C, C++, and Java. From there, I moved on to creating websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and eventually learned about UI/UX design using tools like Figma.

As I continued to learn and grow in the field, my interests shifted towards cybersecurity. I became fascinated with the importance of cybersecurity in our increasingly digital world and its potential impact on the growth of our nation and continent. With a strong foundation in programming and web development, I was able to successfully transition into this new area of expertise.

Looking back on my journey, I am grateful for the diverse set of skills and experiences that I have acquired along the way. From web development to cybersecurity, each step has helped me to develop a deeper understanding of the tech industry and how it can be used to shape the future.

User Support Intern - Nigerian Communications Commission(NCC)

As a User Support Intern at NCC, my responsibilities were centered on ensuring a seamless user experience and resolving customer inquiries.

During my time in this role, I focused on:
User Interaction: I actively engaged with NCC's users, addressing their queries, issues, and concerns through various communication channels, including email, chat, and phone.
Issue Resolution: I developed strong problem-solving skills, consistently troubleshooting and resolving user problems, guaranteeing user satisfaction and a smooth experience.
Product Knowledge: I kept updated with NCC's services and solutions, providing accurate and timely information to users, helping them maximize the value of the products
Feedback Collection: I gathered user feedback, collaborating with cross-functional teams to share user suggestions and pain points, thus contributing to ongoing improvements in our services.
Team Collaboration: I worked closely with my peers in the support team, fostering a collaborative work environment and sharing knowledge for the benefit of our users.

Field Network Engineer Intern - Galaxy Backbone

As a Field Network Engineering intern, my responsibilities involved simulating different networking scenarios using Huawei eNSP and troubleshooting faulty networks. During my time in this role, I gained hands-on experience with network design, implementation, and troubleshooting. I was responsible for identifying and resolving network faults and ensuring that the network infrastructure was running smoothly. Through my work, I developed a strong understanding of network protocols, routing and switching, and network security. Overall, this internship provided me with valuable practical experience in network engineering and furthered my knowledge in the field.

Septemeber 2021 - January 2022

Beta Tester - WithMe

During my time as a beta tester for WithMe, I had the opportunity to test and explore the app's social and gaming features. I customized my unique look and connected with friends who brought out the best in me. I also tested the app's creative features by experimenting with the drawing boards and showing off my style. Throughout my testing process, I made sure to follow the app's requirements and use it in an optimal environment. I identified and reported any bugs or issues that I encountered and provided feedback to help improve the app's functionality and user experience. Overall, my experience as a beta tester for WithMe was rewarding, and I enjoyed being a part of the development process.
